How to choose a domestic destination
For snow and mountain scenery, Kashmir, Himachal and Ladakh are the strongest choices - Ladakh is best from May to September, while Kashmir and Himachal are worth visiting in every season. For a coastal break, Goa suits travellers looking for beaches and nightlife, and Kerala combines beaches with backwaters and hill stations. Rajasthan is at its best between October and March for culture, history and desert landscapes.
