Welcome to the Pink City, Jaipur

Your Rajasthan holiday commences in Jaipur, where our team picks you up from the airport and takes you to your hotel. Take a chance to check in, freshen up, and unwind from your travel as the real sightseeing commences tomorrow. In the evening, take a walk around the local market where the kids will enjoy the bright bangles and the elders can treat themselves to some traditional Rajasthani sweets. Settle down for a relaxing family dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.

Forts, Palaces and Royal Jaipur

Begin your day with a royal tour at the splendid Amber Fort. With vast courtyards to explore and beautiful Sheesh Mahal with its crystal mirror craft, you will find there's a whole lot more to this fort than meets the eye! Follow this with a tour of the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, and don't forget to stop by for the most famous photo opportunity at Hawa Mahal with its intricate latticework of tiny windows. Kids love the tales of maharajas and maharanis while everyone is charmed by the stunning landscapes. End your day with a visit to Jal Mahal in the evening followed by a sumptuous Rajastani dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.

After a leisurely breakfast, drive about 3 hours to the peaceful holy town of Pushkar. Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the very few temples of Lord Brahma in the world, and walk beside the calm Pushkar Lake. The small bazaar is great for silver jewelry, handmade bags, and snacks. As evening comes, sit by the ghats to watch a soft golden sunset, then stay overnight in Pushkar.

Drive to the City of Lakes, Udaipur

Enjoy a scenic drive to Udaipur, which takes about 5 to 6 hours with a short tea and rest stop on the way. Reach your hotel, check in, and take some rest, as the day is kept light on purpose. In the evening, visit the green Sahelion Ki Bari garden with its fountains and take an easy walk by the beautiful Fateh Sagar Lake. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

Start your day with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, which perches over the blue clay-tiled houses of the ancient city, and a white marble Jaswant Thada not far from the fort. Then, drive for about 5 hours to the Golden City of Jaisalmer with a stop for lunch on the way. In the evening, go to the Sam Sand Dunes to watch the desert turn to gold at sunset with an optional side of camel-riding and listening to the local Rajasthani folk melodies (at your own expense) and return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer Fort and Farewell

Get exposed to India’s only living fort that is still occupied by families who reside in it and trade within its walls. Explore the beautiful Patwon Ki Haveli with its intricate carving on stone. Have lunch and then start your journey back to Jodhpur, which will take about 5 hours. You will be dropped off at Jodhpur’s airport or railway station, and your tour comes to an end as you leave with new memories in your mind.
